Our client sold his products from his website and sent them out via the mail. I'm sure that most people have made purchases on the web. But have you ever noticed the paperwork that comes along with your order?
Quite often, the only thing enclosed in your package is a poorly printed invoice - what a wasted opportunity. The client has just made a purchase from you, they have your goods in their hands and are eagerly looking forward to trying them out. And all they get is a scruffy invoice.
At the very least, they need an attractive thank you card (see above) and in the case of this client, the other side of the card gave a money saving offer for the next order.
An order form was included and a prominent phone number for people who preferred that method of placing an order. But that's not all. Our client wanted to make sure that his customer kept his products in mind, so TSDG developed a simple bookmark - see below. Both the postcard and the bookmark were inexpensively produced but just added that small touch - that attention to detail - to every order.
Because our client was selling delicious homemade cookies, we designed the bookmark to have a handy reference guide on the reverse. We're happy to say that both items were successful in their goal. Is this something you can adapt for your own business?
