Of course, if you have tried-and-tested promotions that really work for you, that's fine.
But the promotions we've been seeing in our mailboxes have been pretty predicatable. Hotels are offering the same old 'romantic' packages, resorts are plugging 'romantic' getaways, spa locations are offering 'pampered partners' deals - and all these are the same packages they offer all year round. They just throw in some chocolates, a bottle of champage and posibly a single red ose to make it 'romantic'.
The most interesting thing I saw was a pizza establishment serving heart-shaped pizzas; nice but hardly earth shattering.
A recent study showed that "43 percent of single women felt indifferent about or even "disliked" Valentine's Day." (Although we wonder who the participants were). Anyone up for anti Valentines promotions?
