The keyword density is an important part of the process. Websites are built with search engines in mind from day one, and a successful website can't be built without knowing the website's goal, as far as search engines are concerned.

What is keyword density? As you probably know, search engines don't see your beautiful graphics and photographs - they see the coding of your site. And in particular, they pay attention to the copy. After all, it's this that tells them what the site is about.
At TSDG, we always say that it's a good idea to imagine every page of your site as an employee doing a job of work for you - so what job do you want each page to do?
Well, the first thing you want it to do is to be found in search engines for a particular key phrase - it can't do anything for you if it can't be found.
So, bearing this in mind, we analyze your copy to show you how search engines will classify your site. The words with the most importance will be how your site is classified. For example, if you have a fish restaurant in Chicago, and the keywords with the highest density on your home page are 'fish restaurant chicago' you've got it right!
When we post the results of your keyword density, you'll be able to see exactly how each page will be classified by the search engines.
This is great if your results are 'fish restaurant chicago' (or whatever is relevant to your business) but it's rare that this happens first time. This is why we show you the results - so that your copy can be tweaked accordingly. For example, if the highest words on the list are 'we will' or 'our business' then we definitly need to work on it.
