And we all know that when you buy something - anything - you are paying for the business' overheads. But here's a question:
There are three restaurants situated very close to each other. The owners have a friendly rivalry. All charge a ten percent charge for parties of ten or more. A group of ten people goes into restaurant A and have appetizers. They pay the bill, plus tip and service charge and then move on to restaurant B for their entree. They pay the bill, again with the service charge and the tip and then go and have dessert at restaurant C. They pay the bill....
Madness, of course.
And yet, despite the advantages of an integrated marketing campaign, would you believe that there are still companies who go to design company A for their advertising, company B for their website, company C for their email marketing, company D for their brochure design?
Madness, of course.
