When TSDG created the new website for 3030 Ocean, Dean's restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, Dean said that he wanted a way to connect with his clients.
The answer was 3030's own social network; a portion of which is seen in the screenshot above. Dean and his staff, with no special; knowledge about websites, HTML, scripting or all that other clever stuff, can add details about events, cooking classes, recipes .... there is a discussion forum where members can ask Dean questions, photographs and videos can be uploaded, there's even a live chat facility.
Menus are posted daily, ensuring that clients and potential clients have the most up to date information. The network contains a huge amount of content about the restaurant, its food, its staff and its celebrity chef.
But a social network is even more than that. Members feel that they belong to the site (which of course, they do) and see it as their own. It's not a huge leap to realize that they think that way about the restaurant too.
Restaurant marketing at its best.
