If your company was choosing a celebrity to be your spokesperson, who would it be? The answer to this question can give vital information to your design company.
We've all seen these pop-psych "what animal would your company be?" and "what color is your company?" and "what car would your company be?" but knowing that you see a zebra driving an orange Cadillac doesn't tell us much about your company (although it might speak volumes about you).
No, a much more useful question is "what celebrity would you choose to represent your company?" That doesn't tell me about what you think (that zebra) but tells me how you would like your company to be perceived by the general public.
Look at it this way. You see that company A has just appointed Jenna Jameson to be their spokesperson. You see that company B has selected Sophie Rhys-Jones as their spokesperson. What does that tell you about those companies?
(In case you don't know, Jenna is a porn star and Sophie is a countess and married into the British royal family).
You see the difference and you can imagine how the design approach would be different for those two companies - to say the least.
Michael Jackson - Bill Maher - Paris Hilton - Kyle Busch - Michael Caine - Sarah Palin - imagine these people as representing companies; there would be a hige difference in those companies.
And there's a huge difference in the design approach for those companies. So when we ask you "Which celebrity would you like to respresent your company?" is IS a serious question.
