Open Table, the online restaurant reservation service, has announced the top restaurants in Fort Lauderdale.
At TSDG, we are pleased to see that no less than three restaurant clients are featured as Fort Lauderdale's most popular restaurants. What's even better is that these accolades are determined by user reviews, not by professional restaurant reviewers. The choice of the people!
Restaurants are judged on their ambiance, the food, the service - and other features such as the wine list, the romantic atmosphere and other factors. There is also a 'fit for foodies' category on which our three clients score highly.
Well, aren't we ALL foodies?
So here they are - and I've put them in alphabetical order, you'll have to visit the Open Table website to see how each restaurant scores in each category!
3030 Ocean
At the Harbor Beach Marriott and domain of Chef Dean James Max. TSDG created a fabulous website for Dean and 3030 which includes an entire social network where viewers can ask Dean and the staff questions, post messages in the forum section and generally interact with 3030 and its team members. This is a great way for the restaurant to retain loyal clients. Staff add menus, recipes, blogs and special events; videos and photographs can be uploaded - in fact, Dean and his team have complete control over the School of Fish, as the social network is known. It's a great way to keep the site completely up-to-date and gives viewers a reason to visit the site regularly.
In addition to working with Dean at 3030 Ocean, TSDG created the brand and the corporate idently for Dean's restaurant in Columbus, Ohio - Latitude 41. This includes the logo, the menus, the signage, ads, promotional material and, as we say at TSDG 'everything visual'.
We're looking forward to your next restaurant, Dean! (Oh, I might have mentioned this before but my old man says that 3030's lobster bisque is the best he's ever had and he's a lobster bisque connoisseur!)
Casa d'Angelo
A well established Fort Lauderdale restaurant, Casa d'Anglo is headed by Chef Angelo Elia who, as the TSDG-designed website says "is the well-known and highly acclaimed culinary maestro who has repeatedly received numerous awards and recognition in all the food and wine publications of Florida as well as some national magazines."
Angelo also has restaurants on Boca Raton and Paradise Island in the Bahamas (yes, that's one we're hoping to visit one day!) the website is well woth a visit if only for the fabulous recipes featured - try the Gamberoni Al Vino Bianco E Olive Taggiasche! TSDG is also responsible for the branding of Elia's Wines by Angelo and are currently working on another exciting new project for this well-respected chef.
In addition to the website, TSDG also produce ads and other promotional material for Casa d'Angelo.
Teal Bistro Americana
Teal is a comparative newcomer to Fort Lauderdale. The bistro, located almost next door to the TSDG offices on Las Olas Boulevard, had its corporate identity and (again) 'everything visual' designed by our own maestros - menus, signage, advertising, website ...
In addition to its fabulous food and ambience, Teal has a very lively happy hour and is TSDG's local neighborhood bar. Why not call in and see if you can spot any TSDG people in there? What could beat a happy hour on Las Olas after a hard day's slaving over a hot computer?
Congratulations to 3030 Ocean, Casa d'Angelo and Teal Bistro Americana.
