You must have seen sites which have strange characters in the copy. I come across them all the time. Quite often this happens in blogs but I also see it on 'real" HTML websites too.
What causes it?
Well, it's quite simple.
You'll have read various rants from the grumpy old woman about HTML coding. If you're a TSDG website customer, you'll be familiar with the term 'copy coding' from your web timeline. Coding the copy involves making sure that characters are, well, properly coded.
