When I was at college, there would have been no stopping me applying for this job....

A restaurant, soon to be opening in Santa Monica, is looking for what it calls a 'chalkboard artist'.

The job entails, to quote the ad 'doing original art on restaurant’s numerous blackboards on bi-weekly basis'. Doesn't that sound like fun?

And not just for the person who gets the job, either. What better way to show frequently changing, original artwork for patrons and staff.

Well done to the originator of this idea. I do hope that every piece of artwork is photographed and uploaded to the restaurant's website as an archive. Great idea.
